Help...
This section is designed to give you assistance
on signing up and using your Incogno. If you already have
an Incogno then you will find more detailed help in the control
panel section after you have logged in.
How do I protect my number when calling?
Incogno protects your inbound calls only so to protect your
outbound calls (ie: protect your phone number when
you place a call) you can prefix the number
you dial with 141.
This is the standard BT way to withhold your number and is
free to use (please check with your network provider if you
are not with BT).
Are there any hidden charges?
No. When you
purchase the Incogno product at our low rate... that's it! Stay safe and have fun!
What are the call charges?
The call charges are based upon BT's "k" rate. Please
for the rates. Please note that the Incogno owner is not charged
for calls - only the incoming caller.
How do we contact Incogno?
Please use the following page <click

Why a 6 month subscription when it is free to renew?
The primary reason for an Incogno is to be a public facing
number that can be treated as disposable. You may not require
it more than 6 months - or you may choose to use it for
years. By administering an Incogno in 6 monthly intervals
lets use recycle numbers that are no longer required faster.
How will I know when my 6 month subscription is
about to expire?
When your six month subscription is abut to expire, you will
receive an email reminding you to re-subscribe. There will
be a link back to our main website to make things easy for
you.
Can I set up a direct debit to automatically
renew my subscription, in case I forget?
At the present time Direct Debit is not available, but this
is an option we are currently investigating and hope to introduce
soon.
Can I select my own memorable Incogno
number?
At the current time, numbers are allocated in turn through
our technology partner. We are keen to
continually evolve Incogno, and want to carry on improving
the options available. We hope to be able to offer a choice
of numbers soon.
Why can't I receive text messages to my Incogno?
Unfortunately, a person cannot hide their phone number when sending texts. Also, BT does not allow text messages to be sent to 070 numbers. We are trying hard to get this changed. Watch this space!!!
Do you offer a ‘personal contact
business card’ printing and design service?
A number of Incogno users have requested this service, and we
are hoping to offer this service soon.
How can I be sure that my Incogno will
forward all calls, and that none will get lost in ‘cyber
space’?
Incogno has been thoroughly tested, over a number of months
with various different user groups and is based upon technology
employed for the last 4 years in business. There have been no
reported technical issues.
